In addition to the ongoing classes described below IDYC offers private, one on one sessions, workshops, offsite LessStress corporate classes and private yoga parties.

Most of our classes are taught in a vinyasa (flowing) style. Modifications and developmental steps for all asanas (postures) will be given so that you can enjoy working at your own pace.
Our highly trained instructors offer students a safe and gentle approach to their practice and are respectful of each students needs and limitations.
At Inner Dance our emphasis is on community rather than competition!


 Beginner Basics Series a four week series of classes that are perfect for beginners or continuing students who want to learn proper alignment in postures and develop breath awareness. Yoga basics are taught to establish a foundation of safety in your practice. If you’re a beginner or a more advanced student looking to get back to basics, give this class a try. Take advantage of a more intimate environment and focus on proper alignment and breathing techniques.

Flow and Form

Continuing Beginners an ideal class for beginners as well as experienced students who wish to continue to build stamina, strength, flexibility and concentration. There will be a focus on biomechanics and alignment.

Gentle Yoga an ideal class for beginners as well as experienced students who happen to like a gentler, more slower paced approach to the practice.

Vinyasa Flow an active and well-balanced class promoting mind, body and spirit integration through asanas (postures), vinyasa (flow), pranayama (focused breathing) and deep relaxation. Discover your strength as you stretch deeper and hold poses a little longer. Enjoy moving in your body with grace and ease. This class is the perfect compliment to everything you do; walk, run, bike, hike, swim, ski…the list goes on.

Chair Yoga for Strength and Balance   replaces the traditional yoga mat with a chair. The support of the chair in seated and standing yoga movements safely allows you to build strength and stamina; and to develop balance and body awareness. Focus on the breath and movement promotes increased concentration and relaxation, and brings a feeling of well being to body, mind, and spirit.

Whether you’re a new or a continuing student, this series is suitable for all ages, fitness levels and physical conditions and is ideal for all levels of experience.

Prenatal Yoga a class specifically designed for the journey of pregnancy which will help strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, aid in digestion, improve circulation, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort.

Mommy and Me Yoga bring a blanket and your little yogi (ages 6 weeks to 36 mos) in their PJs just waking up for an early or mid morning class!  We’ll warm up as we stretch, strengthen, tone and relax our breath while the little ones play.  Then engage our little yogis with age appropriate movements and song.  We ramp down with gentle flow and relax our mind bodies with teacher assisted stretch and massage. 

Toddler/Preschool Yoga builds on children’s natural born ability to do yoga, class follows yoga basics in a fun and light-hearted way. Kids and parents alike will enjoy stretching, opening the breath through song and sound, practicing playful poses and winding down to practice calm and rest. Suggested age is 3 and up, younger siblings welcome! 

Mindfulness through Movement: Vitality Qigong and Tai Chi Qigong is an ancient Chinese medical practice, designed to increase vitality, reduce stress, and heal energy blockages in the body. It is fluid meditative movement that is easy to learn and it’s fun! No experience necessary, all are welcome. This class is drop-in and if you take it you are welcome to stay for the Tai Chi class that follows for FREE. Please note: the qigong class is gentle movement that is easy to follow and requires no memorization; it provides the basic principles learned in Tai Chi. Tai Chi is a longer, continuous form, with new movement being added each class.
Learning the form requires commitment of attendance as new material will be added each class.

Restorative Yoga emphasizes restful poses in which the body is supported with a variety of props. Restorative yoga is for all levels and is the ideal way to achieve deep relaxation and restore depleted energy.
